Now a dweller of Los Angeles, I grew up in Minnesota where I received teaching degrees in English and Speech/Theatre in Moorhead, MN. For seven summers I was a member of the Straw Hat Players, a theatre company in Moorhead.
My short story about a Hollywood temp secretary appeared in Crazyquilt, a San Diego literary magazine. A children’s mystery story was published in Children’s Digest. Several of my one-act plays were produced in small theatres in the Los Angeles area. A full-length play, The Money Movie, became the inaugural event at the Performing Arts Center in Big Bear, CA. My 30-minute screenplay, Child Again, shot in Oklahoma, screened at film festivals.
Besides reading and writing, I love going to the theatre. I have a love/hate relationship with golf, but always hope to improve. And I’m addicted to audiobooks.
